Our Promise and Our Treatment Philosophy

Our promise is to provide the highest quality care possible for each patient, delivered with compassion and empathy. We use the highest quality equipment and materials, we plan to provide adequate time for each procedure including patient education and management, we strive to keep at the forefront of continuing education within the dental profession, and we treat each patient as we would treat our own family members.

Our treatment philosophy is that our patients should be provided with choices in treatment options and restorative materials used. We are skilled in the use of all types of restorative materials that have been evaluated and approved by the ADA. And we pride ourselves on being among the most well educated dental providers in our region. This allows us to offer our patients treatments that are best suited for them at the high quality they deserve.

Our Location

We are located at 210 South Fifth Street in Burlington, Iowa. Many Burlington residents will remember this as the former site of St. Francis Hospital. Dr. Amy Groeltz and her husband, Martin, purchased the property in 2006 and construction of the current building began shortly after. Smile Shoppe opened for business in 2007. All our operatories have large windows facing the Mississippi River or downtown Burlington. Kids of all ages enjoy viewing trains, barges, bald eagles, bridge construction, and Burlington's steeplescape from here. From our outdoor waiting room some of Burlington's most well know landmarks can be seen including Snake Alley and the Great River Bridge. We are proud to practice on this beautiful Burlington hillside where we are lucky to have many wonderful members of the community as our patients.

Hours of Operation

• Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

We are closed daily from noon until 1 p.m. for lunch. Closed on major holidays and on occasion for continuing education.

Parking

We have a private parking lot with ample parking just a few feet from our front door. Our office is handicap accessible.

Payment/Insurance Information

Payment is expected at the time of service. We are happy to file a claim to your dental insurance company, so please bring any insurance information with you to your appointment. We accept most forms of payment including major credit cards.
